Waytoplay roads are something that we’re often asked about and people can’t believe how flexible they are when they see and feel them for themselves!
WaytoPlay road segments are made of 100% child safe and child-friendly, durable, hygienic rubber compound and all resources used are sourced in Germany.
The cars that fit best on the Waytoplay flexible roads are the Grimm's Slimline Cars as they fit in each lane but you can also use any other vehicles on them, they are just wider on the road.
They are great for playing outside in the dirt or at the beach for this exact reason but also work well in small world set ups and sensory play as they can just wipe clean!
They go up and over bridges, ramps and of course Wobbel Boards and are a great fine motor exercise for children. Our daughter calls them her favourite puzzle and has been able to put them together independently since she was almost 2.
We have personally owned the 12 piece Ring Road (pictured below) for about 8 months it has been great to make small set ups but we don’t feel it’s enough for our family as now they both want to play and our eldest wants to create more elaborate tracks.
The beauty of Waytoplay sets is that you can add to the sets later on if your budget doesn’t allow for a larger set at first which is what we have done.

- 16 curves and 8 straights, printed on both sides
- Special ‘Grand Prix’ printing on the curves, including curbstones
- Special ‘Grand Prix’ printing on the straights featuring start grid, finish line and pit lane
- 648 cm in length
- 16 curves, 16 straights, 4 intersections and 4 roundabouts
There are also a series of extension sets which you can add just a few different pieces at a time.
