Dr Zigs have created the most incredible giant bubbles which are sure to entertain your family for hours of amazing bubbling fun!
Babies will enjoy tracking bubbles and making first attempts at popping them as they grow older.
Toddlers will love running around in the bubbles popping as many as they can and also starting to blow them themselves.
Children will start to using and experimenting with techniques to make bubbles bigger and also more of them!
And adults? Well we aren't missing out on the fun! Get involved and enjoy them together as a family, I know we do!
Bubbles are also fun at parties and can be an eco friendly alternative to balloons!
When the bubbles are popped they don't leave anything behind. No mess or harmful materials that can have an environmental impact, just lots of happy smiling faces!
How to Mix the Bubble Solution
The Bubble Mix Concertrate needs to be mixed with water before playing.
The little bottle makes alot more thn you might think!
- 100ml Concentrate = Makes 1L of Giant Bubble Mix
- 1L Concentrate = Makes 10L of Giant Bubble Mix
If you don't use all the mixture you can store it in a airtight container for next time too!
Now I know I personally get a bit confused with the ratio 1:9 and prefer measurements in millilitres so below I've written these measurements and included a video to show you!
- Use the correct ratio 1:9 (50mls concentrate to 450mls water)
- Use WARM water to dissolve the mixture
- Mix slowly to avoid froth on top of mixture
What's it made of?
So you might be wondering what makes the Dr Zigs bubble mix so good. We're going to be honest and let you know that it's a bit of a secret as they don't want the recipe replicated by anyone else!
What we can tell you though is that the bubble solution is quality, award-winning, vegan, eco-friendly and biodegradable. It is also free from phosphate, palm-oil and parabens and it was developed by a marine conservationist. It's had about 10 years of research and testing to perfect the recipe too!
It definately makes bigger and better bubbles than anything else we've tried!
Closer Look at the Bubble Wands
Each of the wands comes in a kit with a Bubble Mix Concentrate:

Hand Bubble Wand
The Hand Wands are great for younger children from around 2 years old as they don't require much technique and are small and easy to control with one hand. They make great big bubbles by either blowing or sweeping it through the air!
Hand wands can be made into different shapes thanks to the flexible wire inside.
How to use the Hand Wand
1. Use a wide, shallow bowl
2. Mix up the bubble mix concentrate; Mix 1 part bubble concentrate and add 9 parts warm water and mix thoroughly but gently.
3. Make your hand wand into your desired shape.
TIP: Laying your shape flat, push the handle up to make an L shape. This will make it easier to dip into the mixture.
4. Dip the hand wand into the bubble mix but don't stir or splash the mix around.
5. Hold the wand up close and blow through it or hold it up and sweep it through the air making an S shape
Mini Bubble Wand
The Mini Bubble Wand works in the same way as the Hand Wand but is smaller in size at just
The wand is plastic-free with a bamboo stem and cotton loop which can be hand moulded into any shape that you like.
Multi-Loop Bubble Wand
The Multi-Loop Bubble Wand rope makes loads of bubbles and is ideal for siblings and bigger groups. Children will love playing games together, running around and enjoying making and popping the bubbles with friends!
We reccommend these for children from 3 years of age and above as they require a little more technique than the Hand Wand.
How to use the Multi-Loop Wand
1. Using a bowl or jug mix up the bubble mix concentrate; Mix 1 part bubble concentrate and add 9 parts warm water and mix thoroughly but gently.
2. Dip the wand into the bubble mix but don't stir or splash the mixture around. (Making lots of bubbles in the solution reduces the surface tension & it won't continue to make nice big bubbles)
3. Pull the wand out of the mixture with handles together, letting excess mixture drip off.
4. If it is windy face your back into the wind, open the handles out wide and watch the bubble drift away from you.
If there is no wind, open the handles out wide and move the wand to the side in a swaying motion.
You can also run or spin around however if you go too fast the solution may fling off and not make a good bubble (experiment with different speeds)!
Giant Bubble Wand
The Giant Bubble Wand makes the biggest bubbles in the range and also requires the most technique. We would reccommend it for children from around 4 years old.
It will make BIG, impressive bubbles that you can't make any other way than with the specialty Bubble Concentrate and this style of bubble wand.
Children will love seeing how big their bubbles are and how far they blow! Sometimes its hard to resist popping them when they are so big.
With this one you may need a bit of practice to get the big big bubbles out! Follow the instructions below for the best results!
How to use the Giant Bubble Wand
4. If it is windy face your back into the wind and open the handles out wide watching the bubble grow. When you are happy with the size bring the handles back together to 'close' the bubble and it will then release from the wand and drift away.
If there is no wind open the handles out wide and move the wand in a single direction across your body or by walking or running. When you are happy with the size bring the handles back together to 'close' the bubble and it will then release from the wand and drift away.
You can also spin around however if you go too fast the solution may fling off and not make a good bubble. Eexperiment with different sizes and speeds to see how big you can make them.
