This wood crafted toy boat resembles ancient canoes that have been hand carved out of timber. Made from sustainable approved pine timber. It has a simple, yet efficient design that is unsinkable. It is perfect for open-ended outdoor play in a flowing stream or still lake. Timber has been oiled with a non-toxic water-resistant oil. The boat though will need to be continually oiled to avoid cracking.

Due to being a natural resource, weather conditions and location of timber resources will cause timber to undergo different changes. This is typical of all timber products. The humidity, rain and the amount of direct sunlight product is exposed to will all change the rate in which timber deteriorates.
We recommend that timber resources are sanded and re-oiled throughout the year as required. Please follow the manufacturers directions for oiling.
After wet use, we recommend drying outside which will prevent mould and wood rot.
After drying thoroughly we recommend storing the product under cover out of direct sunlight and the weather, which will increase longevity of the resource.

The humidity, rain and the amount of direct sunlight the product is exposed to will affect the rate which timber deteriorates. As timber is a natural resource, extra care is needed to maintain its quality and longevity.
This resource is NOT meant to be left outside after wet play but needs to be dried thoroughly after wet play use which will prevent mould and wood rot. IF left outside or packed away damp it risks producing mould on surface of timber.
We recommend that timber resources are sanded and re-oiled throughout the year as required. If you want to leave this resource outside on a more regular basis you MUST apply a marine lacquer recommended by your local hardware store.
Direct sunlight can damage timber resources more rapidly and we recommend that product is stored inside straight after drying thoroughly.
