I bought my 2.5year old some toddler scissors but then realized he didn't quite have the fine motor skill yet of squeezing the scissors with a thumb and finger. These scissors have been great for him as he can build up his hand muscles and coordination in using scissors..plus it's given him confidence in cutting which he now loves to do.
